“Booking disparity” report in Exely Advisor

“Booking disparity” report in Exely Advisor

Last update: May 22, 2025

Booking disparity is a case when a booking from a sales channel has a price lower than the minimum price displayed in the booking engine on the property's official website.

The “Booking disparity” report in Exely Advisor helps you to detect such cases and control the prices on the official website to be more attractive for guests.

How to find the report

In the Exely extranet, go to “Advisor” > “Booking stats” > “Sales and occupancy” > the “Booking disparity” tab.

Pay attention. The “Booking disparity” tab is displayed only if there is more than one disparity booking for future dates.

How the report is generated

1. Exely Advisor receives information about a booking from a sales channel.

2. Exely Advisor finds the minimum booking price on your website for the dates and accommodation terms that were specified in the channel booking (room type, number of guests, accommodation terms, etc.).

3. In the “Booking disparity” report, the following details are shown:

  • Booking number.

  • Point of sale — the sales channel from which the booking came.

  • Booking date.

  • Arrival date.

  • Nights.

  • Booking cost.

  • The price on the official website.

  • Difference in percent — how much the price on the website is higher than the price in the channel.

How to use the report

1. You can use the “Booking dates” filter to find the disparity bookings for the required period.

2. Click a booking number to switch to the booking in the “Reports” > “Bookings” section and find the required details.
