When your loyalty program is already set up and running, you may need to make changes to its current terms in line with your management decisions.
How to change names of loyalty levels, discount rate or points calculation rate
The names of levels, the discount rate for Exely Loyalty Program: Discounts, and the points calculation rate for Exely Loyalty Program: Points can be changed in the loyalty program settings in the “Guest management” > “Loyalty program” section:
on the “Loyalty levels” tab for Exely Loyalty Program: Discounts,
on the “Reward rules” tab for Exely Loyalty Program: Points.
The discount rate and points calculation rate are set separately for each loyalty level and do not depend on neighboring levels:
in Exely Loyalty Program: Discounts, the discount rate can be set from 0% to 99%.

in Exely Loyalty Program: Points, the points calculation rate can be set from 1% to 100%.

How to change the earnings threshold
The earnings level can be adjusted upward or downward in both Exely Loyalty Program: Discounts and Exely Loyalty Program: Points. The new value must be higher than the previous level and lower than the next level.
How to increase the earnings threshold
When you enter a higher value in the “When a guest earns” field, the system will warn you that the loyalty level of issued cards will remain unchanged. Guests will be credited with the missing earnings needed to maintain their current level.

For example, in the settings of a loyalty program with the “Money” earnings type, three levels are set: Base, Silver, Gold. The threshold for moving to Silver is set at 2,800 euros. The threshold of 2,800 euros needs to be increased to 3,500 euros. A guest with the Silver status has already earned 3,000 euros. After the level settings are changed, the program will credit the missing 500 euros to the guest’s loyalty card. In the loyalty card’s transaction history, this will be displayed as a level change.
The same logic applies to other earnings types — “Nights” and “Money and nights” (the latter is available only in Exely Loyalty Program: Points). The guest will be credited with the missing number of nights or money needed to maintain the current level.

Pay attention. In Exely Loyalty Program: Points with the “Money and nights” earnings type, when the threshold is increased, no additional earnings are credited, if the guest’s loyalty card already has enough money or nights to maintain the current level.
How to decrease the earnings threshold
When you enter a lower value in the “When a guest earns” field, the system will warn you that the loyalty level of issued cards will be upgraded, if guests have already earned the required amount or number of nights.

When saving the changes, the system will warn that guests’ loyalty levels may change and will send them notifications, if these are enabled in the loyalty program settings.

How to change the type of earnings
The program does not support switching from one type of earnings to another. To change the type of earnings — for example, from nights to money or vice versa — you need to delete the program and set it up again.
To delete a program, send a request to your Customer Support manager or Exely Customer Support team from the email of a user who has access to the Client Portal. In the request, specify the property ID and the action required — to reset or delete the loyalty program due to a change in the type of earnings.
Before deleting the program, to avoid losing data, you can export all current loyalty cards in the “Guest management” > “Loyalty program” > “Cards list” section using the “Export to XLSX” button.

Then, our technical specialists will reset the loyalty program settings upon your request, and you will be able to configure the loyalty program under the new conditions. The exported cards can be imported using the “Import from file” button.
How to delete a loyalty level
If you need to delete an active loyalty level, but there are already cards issued for it, follow the steps below:
1. Create a new level in the “Guest management” > “Loyalty program” > “Loyalty levels” tab.
2. Move the cards from the current level to the new one: in “Guest management” > “Loyalty program” > “Cards list”, apply a filter by the current level. Click “Action” > “Change the status level” on the right of the loyalty card and assign the card to the new level.

3. Delete the current loyalty level in the “Guest management” > “Loyalty program” section > the “Loyalty levels” tab.

The system does not support a direct switch from Exely Loyalty Program: Points to Exely Loyalty Program: Discounts. To change the loyalty program type, you need to delete the existing program and set it up again.
