For any type of PMS integration, Exely supports three price management modes:

• automatic;

• mixed;

• manual.

Automatic price management mode

Prices are managed on the PMS side and passed to Exely. Changing, setting, or extending prices in the Exely extranet is not possible.

If you try to change prices in a rate plan on the "Prices and restrictions" tab, you will see a prompt window:

If the "Child accommodation" section is enabled in the extranet and at least in one child age range prices set from this section used instead of automatic price upload from PMS, you will see the message:

After prices are set in PMS, they are automatically uploaded to the corresponding rate plan in Exely.

Pay attention:

• Rate plans between Exely and PMS are synchronized by code.

• Automatic price upload from PMS is possible only for base rate plans in Exely.

Mixed price management mode

In this mode, prices can be managed both on the PMS side and on the Exely side. It is possible to change, set, and extend prices in Exely on the "Prices and restrictions" tab.

The mixed price management mode is relevant for properties when there is no possibility to automatically upload prices for all accommodation types between the property PMS and Exely. Usually, such types include extra beds and child accommodation.

Pay attention:

• Automatic price upload from PMS does not stop for accommodation types that are available for synchronization.

• If prices for such accommodation types were set manually in a rate plan in the Exely extranet, they are replaced with prices uploaded from PMS.

Manual price management mode

In this mode, prices are set, changed, and extended only on the Exely side. Prices are not uploaded from PMS and not passed to PMS automatically.
