The “Cancellations window” report allows you to track how many days before arrival a booking has been cancelled.
Use the report to:
find out bookings, from which point of sales are cancelled the most within the selected period;
see bookings, from which point of sales are cancelled on the arrival date;
adjust your cancellation policy.
Pay attention. The data in the report is updated once a day at 10:00 local property time.
How to generate the report:
1. In the “Arrival date” fields, select the period for which you want to generate the report.
2. In the “Company type” filter, select how you want to generate the report: by points of sale, customer companies, or agent companies.
3. Click “Run a report”.
The generated table contains the following parameters:
The “Days left till arrival on the cancellation date” column shows how many days before arrival the booking was cancelled. For example, 0 means the booking was cancelled on the arrival date, 1 means one day before arrival, and so on.
The “Rooms cancelled” column shows how many rooms were cancelled on the arrival date, one day before arrival, etc.
The “Nights cancelled” column shows how many nights were cancelled on the arrival date, one day before arrival, etc.
The “Lost revenue” column shows the revenue that could have been earned from the cancelled bookings.
The “Source” columns show the number of cancelled nights and the percentage of cancelled bookings for each channel/agent/customer.
