In your Exely account, you can set a minimum room price. When you set your rate plans, the system compares them to this minimum, helping to avoid any mistakes.

How to set up a minimum price check

1. In your Exely account, go to “Property settings” → “Main settings”.

2. In the “Minimum price in rate plans” section, tick the box to activate the price check for rate plans.

3. Specify the minimum price at which you want to offer a room to guests. 

How the minimum price check works

If you enter a price below the minimum set in the rate plan settings, you will see an alert about a possible error.

If you want to keep the price below the minimum, tick the box “Confirm changes” and save.

What is special about minimum price check

1. The minimum price check is available for base and derived rate plans. However, it is not supported for Rate Mix, dynamic rate plans, or rate plans like “Free nights.”

2. Only the price for adults with main occupancy can be checked.

3. The minimum price is specified in the property’s currency. If the rate plan’s currency differs from the property’s currency, the minimum price is converted to the rate plan’s currency and used for comparison.

4. Prices set in rate plans are automatically checked when the price input window opens. If a price falls below the minimum, an alert appears and the price is highlighted for review.
