Step 1. How to create price levels in a dynamic rate plan

Step 1. How to create price levels in a dynamic rate plan

To create a dynamic rate plan, set a required number of rate levels:

1. In the Exely extranet, go to “Room management” > “Rate levels”.

2. In the “Rate level settings” tab, create the required number of rate levels by clicking the "Add new level" button. Name them as you wish.

Every price level will be automatically assigned a color so that it is convenient to manage the price level calendar.

3. Go to the “Room management” > “Rate plans”. Create source rate plans to use in the dynamic rate.

Usually, hotels create a basic rate “Rate 0 (Basic price)”, then create derived rates “Rate +5%”, “Rate -5%” etc.

You can use other name for the source rate plans, for example, "Low season", "High season", etc. according to the rate level.

Pay attention. In the settings for source rate plans, it is important to clear all the checkboxes in the “Points of sale” setting, so that these rate plans are not offered to the guests separately from the dynamic rate.

We recommend deactivating source rate plans to avoid confusion with other rate plans. The deactivated source rate plan will continue to upload prices to the dynamic rate plan.

To create source rate plans, follow the instructions:

The next step is to create the dynamic rate plan: "Step 2. How to create a dynamic rate plan".
