To create a derived rate plan on customized conditions:
1. Go to “Room management” > “Rate plans”. Click “Create derived rate plan”.
2. Select the “Custom rate plan” option.
3. Make the following settings:
Enter the name of the rate plan that would be clear to the guests.
Select the base rate plan, based on which the price will be calculated.
Specify if meals are included in the rate plan.
Click “Save”.
4. On the “Rules for derived rate plan” tab, fill in the information in two sections. In the "Rules for derived price" section, set the discount or surcharge from the parent rate plan. For more details on configuring rules for derived price, see the article “How to set rules for derived price in derived rate plan”.
In the "General rules" section, select the restrictions and other parameters that should be derived from the parent rate plan. After making changes, click the "Save" button at the top or bottom of the page.
5. Switch to the "Prices and restrictions" tab and check the prices.
If required, you can change the prices or the restrictions in the derived rate plan. For this:
select the required prices;
click "Change value" and set the new prices or the new value for the restriction.
In case of manual price or restriction overriding in the derived rate plan, these valued will not be derived from the base rate plan. The overridden values are highlighted in yellow. More details are available in "Price overriding".
6. On the "Rate plan display on the website" tab, in the "Detailed description" window, specify the rate plan benefits, information about included services, meals, and other extra services.
Upload an icon and a promo image for the landing page that will attract guests’ attention.
7. Make sure that the "Breakfast" service is included in the rate plan on the "Extra services" tab.
Pay attention. Extra services are derived from the parent rate plan. To manage services manually, disable derivation of extra services on the "Rules for derived rate plan" tab.
8. To activate the rate plan, open sales for it. Click the "Close/Open sales" button.
In the opened window:
Select the action — "Open".
Specify the "Validity period".
Select room types from the drop-down list.
Click "Save".
