Some online distribution channels are integrated with Exely via online request technology. In this article, we will talk about the features of delivering early check-in and late check-out rules to such channels.
Early check-in and late check-out rules can be delivered to channels operating in online request mode, if the required adjustments are made on the channel side. For details, refer to the instruction “How a channel can sell early check-in and late check-out via Exely Connect”.
After the adjustments are made on the channel side, in the Exely extranet in the “Channel Manager” > “Manage channels” > “Channel features” section, the status of the “Bookings with early check-in and late check-out” and “Early check-in and late check-out rules” parameters will change to “Supported”.

What early check-in and late check-out rules are delivered to channels
The early check-in and late check-out rules that are specified in the rate plan are delivered to channels operating in online request mode.

In this case, the rate plan should be selected for the channel in “Channel Manager” > “Manage channels” > “Room types and rate plans mapping”.

Features of delivering early check-in and late check-out rules
If a property works with Exely PMS and Exely Booking Engine, the following settings will appear in the early check-in and late check-out rules:
“Allow guests to book early check-in in Exely Booking Engine”.
“Allow guests to book late check-out in Exely Booking Engine”.
If these settings are ticked, the early check-in and late check-out rules that are set in a rate plan in the Exely extranet will be passed to Exely Booking Engine and channels operating in online request mode.

In other cases, the early check-in and late check-out rules do not have these settings. Early check-in and late check-out rules are automatically delivered to channels operating in online request mode, if this is possible for the channels.
