Types of access rights in Exely PMS
There are three types of access rights for Exely PMS Front Desk: "Management", "Reception" and "Housekeeping", which differ in the number of available actions in Exely PMS Front Desk.
Management
Users with the “Management” type of access rights have access rights to all the menu sections and can do the following:
View brief information on bookings
View booking details
Modify details of the bookings that have not been checked in yet
Create bookings for the upcoming periods of time
Delete bookings made on online distribution channels
Change total amounts for bookings that have been already checked in
Create bookings for the periods of time in the past
Cancel bookings that have already been checked in
Cancel check-ins and outs for the bookings scheduled for the periods of time in the past
Reception
The “Reception” type of access rights allows managing the following menu sections:
Front Desk
Reports: Arrivals, Departures, Occupied rooms, Guests list
Notes and instructions
Guest Profiles
Companies
Users with this type of access rights can do the following:
View brief information on bookings
View booking details
Modify details of the bookings that have not been checked in yet
Create bookings for the upcoming periods of time
Users with this type of access rights cannot do the following:
Delete bookings made on online distribution channels
Change total amounts for bookings that have been already checked in
Create bookings for the periods of time in the past
Cancel bookings that have already been checked in
Cancel check-ins and outs for the bookings scheduled for the periods of time in the past
Housekeeping
User with the “Housekeeping” type of access rights have the least access rights. Among them, there are three menu sections:
Reports: Arrivals, Departures, Occupied rooms
Housekeeping
In the Housekeeping extension, users with this type of access rights can view the tasks assigned to them and mark those tasks as completed.
Any actions with bookings are not accessible to the users of the “Housekeeping” type of rights.
To create a new user, expand or restrict access rights of existing users, contact your Customer Support manager or Exely Customer Support team.
