How to set “Out of order” room status
You may indicate what rooms are out of order in Exely PMS. To do this, follow the steps below:
1. Go to “Property management” > “Housekeeping”.
2. Find the specified room, click “Action” and select the “Out of order” status.
3. Click the "Add another period of maintenance" link. In the opened form, select the dates when the room is unavailable for accommodation in corresponding fields and add the maintenance description. You may add several periods by clicking the "Add another period of maintenance".
4. Click “Save” at the top of the page.
5. Go to “Property management” > “Front Desk”. Here you may see that the room is out of order. It is impossible to check a guest in during this period. This room will also be taken from the availability.
How to cancel “Out of order” room status
To cancel the “Out of order” room status:
1. Go to “Property management” > “Housekeeping”.
2. Find the specified room, click the date in the "Out of order" column, or click “Action” and select “Out of order” status.
3. Click “Recycle bin” icon, then “Save”.
You may not cancel the work if it has already started. In this case, you may reduce its duration by changing its expiry date.
