Closed rate plans for Loyalty program members

Loyalty program is a good way to increase the number of loyal customers and improve financial performance of the hotel. For you to keep warm and long-term relations with your guests, Exely extranet provides the possibility to create rate plans which will be available only to the Loyalty program members.

When this option is enabled, it is possible to indicate in the rate plan settings a loyalty level, which this rate plan will be available for. The members of Loyalty program of the selected level will be able to book rooms at this rate plan on your hotel website. Offer more options to the Loyalty program members and get more loyal guests.

Before taking the steps described below, make sure you have connected and set up the loyalty program. Details on how to do this are available in the article «How to enable and set up Loyalty program».

To enable a closed rate plan for the Loyalty program members, you need to:

1. Log in to your Exely account and go to “Guests relations” > “Loyalty program” and click the “Edit” button for the Loyalty program you have set up. Then, switch to the “Loyalty program settings” tab.

2. In the “Closed rate plans” setting, tick the “Set the closed rate plans based on the loyalty level” check-box. A new setting “Loyalty program in Exely Booking Engine” will be added to the rate plans settings.


3. Go to “Room management” > “Rate plans” and click the name of the rate plan that you need to enable only for the Loyalty program members.


4. Go to the “General settings” tab and find “Loyalty program in Exely Booking Engine” settings. There, select what guests can book this rate plan:


  • "All guests" — the rate plan is available to all guests regardless of their participation in the Loyalty program.

  • "Loyalty guests only" — the rate plan is available to loyal guests authorized in Exely Booking Engine, and is offered based on the loyalty level accordingly.

If you select “Loyalty guests only”, tick the check-boxes for the loyalty levels which the rate plan will be available for. You can set up a separate rate plan with the specific set of services for each loyalty level.

5. Go back to the rate plans list and check if the rate plan is marked with the “Exely Loyalty” icon. It will show the details about the loyalty levels which this closed rate plan was enabled for.


The loyalty program members who authorize in the Booking Engine on your hotel website will see the closed rate plans with a “Personal” label.
