Payment method filters are now available in the Exely Booking Engine at the step of entering guest details.

How payment method filters work

The “Without prepayment” filter opens first and shows the guests payment methods that do not require payment at the time of booking. These are:

• At check-in,

• Bank card guarantee.

When selecting the “Without prepayment” filter, the guest sees the message “No need to pay for your stay right now!”.

The “With prepayment” filter shows guests the payment methods that require prepayment to guarantee check-in. These include:

• Bank card,

• Bank transfer for individuals,

• Bank transfer for legal entities,

• At the office.

When booking 1 room and selecting the “With prepayment” filter, the guest will see the following messages:

• “Free cancellation is available”, if free booking cancellation is available for the guest.

• “Free cancellation is unavailable”, if the guest can cancel the booking only under the terms of penalty.

When booking 2 or more rooms and selecting the “With prepayment” filter, the guest will see the following messages:

• “Free cancellation is available”, if all rooms at the selected rate plans are eligible for free cancellation until a certain date.

• “Cancellation policy”, if free booking cancellation is not available for one or several rooms.

• “Free cancellation is unavailable”, if free booking cancellation is not available for all selected rooms.

If guests click the “More” link in the message, a pop-up window with the cancellation terms will be opened.

Pay attention. The filters are not displayed if the accommodation property has linked only payment methods that require prepayment or those that do not. The messages about the availability or unavailability of free cancellation are always displayed regardless of the connected payment methods.

Payment method filters in a mobile version

The filters and messages are shown in the mobile version of the property website on the same conditions as for the desktop version.
