Extra services - Summary report
“Extra services - Summary report” report contains the list of all the extra services booked along with rooms. For the periods of time in the past, the report displays all the services rendered. For the periods of time in the future, the report contains all the booked extra services.
To generate the report, do the following:
1. For the “Dates”, in the both calendars, select either two different dates to set a period, or one and the same date for both, if you want to generate a report for the specific date.
2. For the “Room type”, select if you want to apply the report to a specific room type or to all the room types that there are at the hotel.
There are several columns in the report:
Charged services — the number of extra services not included into a rate plan that were booked along with the room or ordered during the stay
Included in rate plans — the number of extra services included in a rate plan fee
Total services — the number of services rendered within the selected period
Amount charged for services — the total amount paid/due within the selected period
Amount included in rate plan — the cost of services included in the rate plan
Total amount — the total amount of paid services and services included in rate plans
The total amount for the extra services is displayed above the table.
To download the report to your desktop, click the “Export to XLS” button above the “Dates”.
This report can be used to:
Assess if the KPI for extra service sales is achieved;
Forecast the amount of resources/materials you need to render services in the future;
Monitor the revenue for all the extra services or specific categories.
The report does not include the services for rooms that were set not to be taken into account for statistics.
