References in Exely PMS is a tool for extending several default settings. References are meant for making additional settings initially not provided by the system.

For example, in your hotel, you use a specific payment method that is not used by any other hotel. Or bookings are made on points of sale that is not indicated in Exely PMS. In these cases, add the payment method and the point of sale to "References". Then, you will be able to select them for bookings.

To add a new element to "References", follow the steps below:

1. Go to “Property management” > “Settings”. Switch to the “References” tab.

2. Find the required reference and click the “Edit” button on the right to add new options to References.
