To take into account the diverse needs of guests, both adults and children, there are special settings in the Exely extranet that allow you to set child prices for services.

Logic of services display

Previously, the services in the Exely Booking Engine were offered to guests depending on the rate plan settings. For example, a rate plan might not have prices for children or a room type could not accommodate children. In this case, a child stayed in the property at the adult price, and the booking engine did not offer services at child prices.

Now, the logic of showing child prices does not depend on what price (adult or child) the child is accommodated at. If age ranges are set in the Exely extranet and prices for children's services are set, the services will be offered for a child in the booking engine.

For example, a 5-year-old child stays at the price of an adult in a room with parents.

In the property's extranet, a child price for breakfast is set for children from 5 to 13 years old.

When booking breakfast in the booking engine, the child will be offered the child price even though they are staying at the adult price.
