In the updated Housekeeping extension, we limited permissions for housekeepers for the Front Desk, but added a new role — “Supervisor”. This role is suitable for supervisors and senior housekeepers — anyone involved in assigning cleanings to housekeepers and ensuring that room statuses are updated in a timely manner.

How to create a user with the “Supervisor” access level
1. In the Exely extranet, click your login in the top right corner of the Exely extranet and go to the “Customer Portal” > “Users and rights” section.

2. Click the “Add user” button.

3. In the opened window, fill in the required fields: “Email”, “Login”, “First name”, “Last name”, “Country” and select the “For supervisor” access level. Click “Save”.

What sections are available for the supervisor
The following sections are available for the supervisor in the Exely extranet:
- Front Desk — view-only access without the ability to create and edit bookings;
- Reception.
- Reports.
- Tasks and notes.
- Housekeeping.
Front Desk
In the “Front desk” section, the supervisor cannot create, edit or cancel bookings, but can change the room cleaning status (“Dirty”, “Clean”, “Inspected”). The booking details are available to the supervisor in view mode only.

Reception
In the “Reception” section, the supervisor, unlike an administrator, cannot see the “Balance” column and cannot create a booking, check-in and check-out bookings.

Reports
In the "Reports" section, the supervisor, as well as a housekeeper, can see only the "Arrivals", "Departures" and "Occupied rooms" reports.

Tasks and notes
In the “Tasks and notes” and “Housekeeping” sections, full functionality is available to the supervisor.
Housekeeping
In the “Housekeeping” section, the supervisor, unlike the housekeeper, can:
schedule a cleaning or maintenance (the supervisor has access to all actions with rooms);
assign a housekeeper and change the cleaning status (the supervisor has access to all actions with cleaning);
see all cleanings for all housekeepers;
create, configure, download and print the housekeeping plan.
